US Quaker Oats incorporated in Taiwan
In 1978, Quaker Oats, the largest oats and grains company in the US, came into Taiwan with vision of sharing the “wholesome goodness of oats and grains with the people of Taiwan.” An investment of US$4 million was made to establish a state-of-the-art factory producing various oats products.

Standard Foods Corporation takes over Taiwan Quaker Oats operation
In 1986, US Quaker Oats withdrew from Taiwan, transferring all corporate assets, employees, and resources to Standard Foods Corporation, with license rights to continue production of Quaker-branded oatmeal and infant formulas. On August 8 (i.e. Father's Day in Taiwan), Standard Foods Corporation officially opened, beginning the Company's mission of "nutrition and health."

"Great Day" brand launched
In 1988, Great Day Sunflower Oil launched into the Taiwan market. With decades of unchanging superior quality and 100% safety guarantee, Great Day has expanded its portfolio of edible cooking oil, as well as complementary foods. From the first bottle of sunflower oil, Great Day has dedicated its mission to ensuring every family member replenishes daily essential nutrients to stay healthy through delicious meals made with the brand.

Standard Foods Corporation goes public
In 1994, to further realize the mission of "nutrition and health," Standard Foods Corporation became a listed company on the Taiwan Stock Exchange. With the support of investors and added resources, Standard Foods Corporation has since made significant forward progress, building a better future.

Standard Foods Corporation launches health supplements
In 1997, Standard Foods Corporation became a pioneer in launching Taiwan's first plant-based health tonic, "Quaker Ginseng Drink." Developed from years of food science research, the product combines traditional wisdom of Eastern herbal nurturing with Western preventative health principles, bringing inner-to-outer health to all Taiwanese people.

Standard Beverage Company established
In 1998, Standard Foods introduced "Great Day Pure Bottled Water" to fulfill everyone's need for pure, clean drinking water.

Standard Dairy Corporation established
In 1999, Standard Dairy Corporation began with the acquisition of Fresh Delight and Yoplait manufacturing equipment, production, and trademarks. Inheriting Fresh Delight's experience of over half a century, Standard Dairy took on the mission of producing "fresh, nutritious, and safe" natural dairy products with the latest advanced technology.

Shanghai Standard Foods Corporation established
In 2001, setting sights on China, Shanghai Standard Foods Corporation was set up with headquarters near the Huangpu River. Equipped with cutting-edge technology, the Company was armed to bring nutritious, balanced, and healthy food products to consumers in China.

“TDHB” brand launched
In 2002, in response to Taiwan market's diverse preventative health needs, Standard Foods Corporation launched the "TDHB" brand. With a variety of health supplements, the brand targets consumers of different ages, genders, and physiques. In 2004, the brand was renamed "TDHB." To this day, TDHB continues to innovate products designed to bring people inner-to-outer health.

“Mighty” brand launched
In 2003, Standard Foods entered China's edible cooking oil with the brand "Mighty." Confident in quality, Mighty Sunflower Oil instantly won the hearts and palates of Chinese consumers. Despite fierce market competition, Mighty has become the leading sunflower oil brand in China.

Invested in two additional China subsidiaries
In 2011, Shanghai Standard Foods Corporation increased investments in China, establishing Standard Investment (China) Ltd. and Standard Foods (China) Ltd. Additional production lines were also set up in Taicang, Jiangsu Province, a place historically known as the land of abundance, to further corporate goal of bringing high quality, nutritious edible cooking oils to every family in East China.

Standard Foods (Xiamen) subsidiary established
In 2015, Standard Foods (Xiamen) subsidiary was set up. Production lines of edible cooking oils ensure high quality and nutritious products are delivered to the kitchens of families in South China.

Consolidated into Standard Foods Group
In 2019, to better serve the needs of fast-paced, constantly changing, and widely diversified modern today, Standard Foods Corporation and Standard Dairy Corporation were restructured and consolidated into Standard Foods Group. More resources and manpower have been invested to realize corporate mission of becoming "every family's nutrition and health partner." Standard Foods Group looks ahead with strong hopes for another 30 years of excellence.
